Compare Primary Financial Literacy/Education Schemes and Resources

Financial education - also known as financial literacy - is included in many PSHE and RSE schemes. However the resources and lesson sequences below are stand-alone programmes which can be taught separately. Many are also provided free, and some also have resources for Year 6 Young Enterprise activities.

The LifeSavers programme is a free financial education initiative available for state-funded primary schools. Delivered by the Just Finance Foundation, LifeSavers has been created to help children manage money wisely now and in the future. It provide free training and resources that equip teachers to deliver money lessons, and keep children engaged in healthy money habits.

Created with the Bank of England and TES, join Dennis, Minnie and the Beano gang to help your pupils with financial literacy. Introduce and discuss financial literacy with 12 step-by-step lessons with presentations, activities and games linked to the English, Northern Irish, Scottish and Welsh curricula and complete with learning objectives and outcomes.

A highly interactive financial education programme, designed to help set positive money habits and mindsets from an early age. Expert-led sessions are complemented by an assembly, teacher resources and family challenges.
