Compare Primary Financial Literacy/Education Schemes and Resources

Financial education - also known as financial literacy - is included in many PSHE and RSE schemes. However the resources and lesson sequences below are stand-alone programmes which can be taught separately. Many are also provided free, and some also have resources for Year 6 Young Enterprise activities.

Kapow Economic Wellbeing

Kapow Economic Wellbeing

Kapow Primary

Years 1 - 6

Annual Subscription

Kapow Primary integrates economic wellbeing into RSE & PSHE from Year 1 onwards, helping pupils develop essential money management skills. Each year group follows a progressive curriculum with unit overview videos, teacher CPD videos, and engaging pupil content. Lessons also introduce different career paths.

In Year 1, pupils learn what money is, where it comes from, and how banks keep it safe. As they progress through Key Stage 2, they explore budgeting, value for money, and the difference between needs and wants. Older pupils learn about borrowing, financial safety, and recognising risks such as gambling.
